Roles at Union Square Cafe: Culinary Extern, Pasta Cook, Sous Chef
Barbara Garcia Madero is the General Manager of our sister restaurant, Tacocina, where she oversees hospitality and service as well as Tacocina’s day-to-day culinary operations. Barbara her USHG journey at the mothership, beginning as a Culinary Extern with us while attending the Culinary Institute of America. After graduating, she went to work as a line cook for The Modern, and then rejoined Union Square Cafe’s team for our big move to 19th St., first as a pasta cook, then sous chef.
