
Dorian González Vega
Beverage Director
Dorian was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where she began her career in the hospitality industry at just 15 years old. In 2018, she moved to New York City and in 2019, joined JF Restaurants, starting as a server at The Terrace and Outdoor Gardens at the Edition Hotel. while continuing her wine education, eventually moving into the role of sommelier at North Fork Table and Inn on Long Island. Back in Manhattan, Dorian joined the team at the three-Michelin starred Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare as a sommelier. In 2022, she joined the team at Gramercy Tavern as a server before becoming the restaurant’s head sommelier and manager. In March 2025, Dorian joined Union Square Cafe as Beverage Director, continuing the restaurant’s 40-year wine legacy and providing her signature hospitality to guests.
Dorian is currently pursuing her advanced certification with the Court of Master Sommeliers and is one step closer to her goal of becoming the first Puerto Rican woman to become a Master Sommelier.
